QuickSign: Privacy Policy

Core principle: the documents you sign never leave your device.

QuickSign ("the app") is a tool for signing documents (PDFs and images). A document is opened, signed, and exported entirely on your device. There is no server that documents are sent to, no upload, and we never see, store, or access the contents of your documents at any stage.

Information the app collects

The only information that leaves the device is entirely optional and only if you choose to sign in:

• Google or Apple Sign-In (optional): if you sign in, we receive your email address, display name, and account identifier from the sign-in provider, used to identify your account and enable backup and sync of your settings.
• Cloud sync (optional, only when signed in): the signatures and stamps you saved yourself, along with your name and preferences, are backed up to your account in Firebase (a Google service) so they are available after reinstalling or on another device. The documents themselves are never synced.

If you don't sign in, the app works fully and no information leaves your device.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect location, contacts, calendar, microphone, or usage/analytics data.
• We do not track you and do not sell or share information with third parties for advertising.
• The current version shows no advertisements.

Third-party services

Optional sign-in and sync rely on Firebase / Google Sign-In (Google) and Sign in with Apple (Apple), subject to their privacy policies:

Security & retention

Communication with Firebase is encrypted (HTTPS). Synced data is stored in your account and accessible only to you. You can delete it at any time (see below).

Data deletion

You can sign out at any time from the app's Settings screen. To permanently delete data synced to your account, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page.

Windows version

The desktop version declares the internetClient capability. It is used solely for the optional sign-in and settings backup described above; with no account signed in, QuickSign runs entirely offline. On a PC there is no camera access and no OS share integration. A stamp is chosen from a file only.
